Hi folks! If you aren't aware, yesterday I launched a big 1.1 update to my second game, H-ERO - The Maverick Manor. This has led to some questions regarding whether or not I have plans or would be willing to do the same for MERCANOID.

At this time, I do not have any such plans to upgrade MERCANOID. It and The Maverick Manor were built on the same framework, upgraded between released, and now upgraded yet again for MM's 1.1 update.

In essence, if MERCANOID was v1, I'm on v3 now. Upgrading v2 to v3 took a long time but was manageable enough, but upgrading from two versions back would be significantly more difficult.

There's also the simple fact that I'd rather move on to the next project and put these new and upgraded systems to use on those!

Somewhere down the line I may consider a 'MERCANOID Remastered' or some such with ideas that didn't make it into the original game and all the new QoL present in MM 1.1 (or beyond, depending on when/if this happens), but for now, look forward to new releases! MERCANOID is held together by paperclips and string compared to how my framework is running now, but I feel there's something charming about that. ♥
